I have a Hanger 9 Christen Eagle on order that I plan to install a DLE 20 in this winter to have ready for next spring. Should be fun with smoke

I got my gear from TNT. They will make it to youdemensions. They have a spot on there site to put in all measurements.

Great looking plane. I Have not flown mine yet, still waiting for some half way decent weather.  When it is not raining or snowing the wind is blowing like crazy.

I have the Bisson pitts on my DLE 30. It does not hit the firewall, there is a small gap between the can firewall.

I have an early version and a newer version.  They both have engine boxes but are slightly different.  Are you sure you are looking at the  correct manual as they have a couple different 540's

Well I have gotten a little futher. Cut the lower airfoil so had to slip them on the fusalage to see what things would look like.

The hot wire goes right hrough the 77 adhesive with no problems, I am going to sheet with Gorilla glue today,will moisten first.

Ready now to sheet the top then will cut bottom of airfoil then switch cradles, install shear strips, spars. and sheeting

Ther are 4 pins besides the 2 bolts that hold the tail section on plus the wires. That seemed to work great on the first one I built, never had any problems.

Yours is looking great. One question on the tail bracing, are you going to use the wire as discribed in the article or are you going to fasten solid wires at all points? I am undecided at this time...

I set my throttle armup 180 degrees from where it was, that way choke and throttle are seperated
