i cant help much but i use a old crown acetone...

i cant help much but i use a old crown acetone comtainer metal can with a metal lid seems to seal pretty well.

Post some pictures and some one might be able to help. With out seeing it i would say a little jb weld and a piece of screen to reinforce it would probable save the crank case,

Well i put the rod on backwards still have to tighten front bolt tighter than rear two for free operation threw bottom of stroke the rod is strait. if you all have anymore advice i will listen but...

Lou Crane you were right but i have to tighten the front screw a good bit tighter than the back two to keep it free. will it be ok to run it like that or should i try again to get it better??

Well i tore it down last night and the crank is free, and rod is free both places and strait, the piston is free in the sleeve when out of the engine. But when i put it together she binds a little at...

No i dont have a electric starter all my engines are hand started. Yeah first place i went was to pull back plate rod looks strait as an arrow. would like to find the issue. Thanks for the advice...
