gforce - what sucks is when the original losi part sucks, as in their plastic shocks on the mini-DT, mini-T etc. I bought a mini-desert buggy knowing the plastic shocks sucked and figured I'd upgrade...

i did not enjoy my crawler after a few hours of driving. it's fun to wrench on.

i traded it for a MHR+lipo+blinged out alu parts and i like it quite a bit more.

funny enough i saw the buggy on the shelf today and noticed i had put the shocks on right side up. i could have sworn i put them on upside down.

clp the baloons are inside the springs, around the shaft. They are black, I had to look twice to see them. Sneaky.

xy3lug - I mounted my rears upside-down as discussed earlier. My thought is the oil will stay in better (fingers crossed) and hopefully stay a little cleaner.

my measuring skills are not remiss. lots in my hood are 65' wide and this was over about 3/4 of a lot width. note the "~" indicating an approximation.
