I charge mine at 3 but that is because that is the highest it will charge NiMH. I hear others charging at 5 or so.

They will be hotter! I have a 1900 NiCD and 3 3300 Sanyo NiMH and the NiMH run a considerable amount hotter after a full run. Just DO NOT charge them while they are hot or run them while they are hot...
