RE: Survey: Micro Motor Endurance

Keep in mind that I always have tons of high quality batteries with me when I fly, and I simply land, switch battery and fly within 15 seconds, so no break on those poor brushed motors.

Nobody recorded two good passes right and left, and left and right to do a doppler, but many have recorded something like 45mph in one single straight line. Lately, somebody used a radar and also got...

RE: new parkzone um stryker

When it's too windy, I'm flying my normal size Stryker, so yes, I expect the UM Stryker to be the best micro in the wind. Sure enough, everything is relative, so if I can fly it in 10mph wind very...

RE: 2s on Micros?

Many people have done it, but by going brushless. So you use an external ESC to drive the brushless motor, but also reduce the voltage going into the receiver. A diode is needed since most ESC give...

Nice video. Still a bit windy though, so you're not experiencing the real Extra yet! :)

Isn't it great to be able to hover late in flight? Ihave not tried the SFGs yet, mostly because it's doing...

RE: umx 300

WOW, the only ultra micro I'll dare to fly in 10mph winds are the Beast and the Sbach. And you're flying the Extra. Nice video, good control, but trust me, you'll love it sooooo much with no wind at...

RE: micros.....

Don't forget, no wind for the first 10 flights.   And fly over grass. (and away from trees unless you love climbing them!)  :)

RE: micros.....

Stick with ultra-micro.  A parkflyer plane is much bigger, so if you crash, damage will be worst (more weight being crushed on impact).  If you fly something like a Champ over a grass field (big tip...

RE: umx 300

Not even sure it would be fun at 5mph... Flyable, yes, but fun? This is truly a indoor plane, but who am I kidding.... I've flown Vapor 400ft in the sky!...

RE: umx 300

First time I could fly my UMX Extra 300 outdoor!  Until now, I could only fly it indoor, in a room with 13ft ceiling. Was fun to have no roof for a while!

RE: F27 Stryker Part 9: Crazy DARK SIDE - Beginners to Dark Extremes

GG,

Don't be mad at Quique... His job is not only to improve on an old design, it's also to make sure that it's easy to manufacture. Some people have likely spent over 30 hours on their Stryker...

Thanks for the quick answer...

One more question: (I know you have limited experience so far with it, just do your best).  Do you think it could be flown indoor?  I'm flying a 4-Site in 30X60ft...

RE: Need help deciding

Sure enough, one of them look like it's an infra-red transmitter. I would not touch that since you...
