RE: Walkera 5#10

Thanks for the great post Ted. That's a lot of 5#10s!
How do the connectors play a role? I am not familiar with that.

RE: Walkera 5#10

Also resurrecting an old aspect of this thread, is anyone running this battery (http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-1550-37-Pack.htm)? It's the 1550 mAh 3.7V. I would love a few more minutes of fly time.

RE: Main Shaft replacement for Blade SR

I did the main shaft a few days ago. It's basically as you say, although some of the parts were sticky for me. I watched this video on youtube...

RE: Blade Sr Crash rebuild Cost

I think the main gear is OK - the "weird" sound is since I replaced the main shaft. It sounded fine earlier when I spun it up to test for main-gear straightness. I am wondering if it is just a...

RE: Blade Sr Crash rebuild Cost

Oh yeah, funbag is filling up rapidly. Just replaced main shaft - was ever so slightly bent. Spun it up a little, sounds weird. I think the main shaft bearings may have taken a beating - is that...

RE: Blade Sr Crash rebuild Cost

OK, so with the blades off, Ithrottle up just enough to get the motor running. Looking straight down, the center hub cap and screw are spinning slightly out of center. I presume this indicates a bent...

RE: Blade Sr Crash rebuild Cost

How difficult is it to replace the spindle and main shaft? I had a blade strike and now the heli wobbles quite a bit on spin up - more than it should, that's for sure. Is it just disassemble,...

RE: New Blade SR: collective pitch!

I am using BCP gear zip-tied to the skids. Sizing seems very appropriate. EFLH1128

RE: Blade SR Tail Motor

The support fellow gave me the option of sending the heli in or them shipping me the part. Dunno. I think he said he felt bad that the heli was out of commission so soon and wanted to get me going as...

RE: Blade SR Tail Motor

My tail is still dead. HH thought it was a bad 2in1 so they sent me a new one. I replaced that and still no tail. Gyro lights fine. I tried the AA battery across the tail motor leads and nothing, so...

RE: Blade SR Tail Motor

1. HH only open weekdays.
2. Over-the-phone diagnostics indicate a bad 2-in-1 also.
3. Excellent service from HH http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/thumbup.gif

RE: Blade SR Tail Motor

I have not tail rotation now either. I am a noob, so Ihave the training wheels on and have yet to even lift off (inside still). Out of nowhere, the tail has shutdown ... I adjusted the ESC gain a bit...
