This is an ECU problem and needs to be sent in for repair.
This happened twice on my t-500

also going down in value is actually raising the power

Thats odd.
All that I have seen work like a charm, just go right into your gas solenoid and open it all the way and let the solenoid do the metering

dump the powermax
just get the green propane bottles at walmart and do an off-board start.
No more on-board gas bottles

I do how this picture shows. I no longer run on board propane.
The line hanging off the side plugs into a propane line outside the pane. That festo is a check valve. When the plane starts I unplug...

vent on main tank hangs out the bottom of the plane, thats where you connect your overflow.

main tank clunk runs to side nipple on UAT. Other side nipple is for fill and is capped. Top nipple on...

Ok I put 3 perfect flights on the plane today.

As for landing, you guys should not be having issues.

Near the end of your downwind pattern, be full flaps and idle power.

Larry check your top RPM on the motor, you may not be getting full power.

Guys, be careful with bigger motors in this airframe.

The shape of this airframe actually has a limit to how fast it will physically go.
Putting more power will not make it go faster, it will...
