Check where the main motor connects to the 5in1 board. It's a little two pin connector on the top front of the PCB.

I did that already, took maybe 10 minutes. I had to unsolder the tail motor wires, but I'm wondering if that was necessary.
You can't pull the boom from the body until the wires are out of the tube.
