RE: CP Pro 2 Did I make a Mistake?

Don't sweat it. I learned CP on a CPP2 after a few months with the MSR. I just used whatever settings I found on here for my dx6i. My word of advice is not to fly it when it's windy out. Windy at all...

RE: mSR beyond control

Mine would have that type of issue when the guide on the back of the swashplate would fall out of it's groove after an incident. I have no idea on the rudder stick affecting cyclical motions though.

RE: flybarless msr

I'm honestly not sure the physics behind it. When you let off of the collective stick on a fixed pitch, it will rock back to "center". A CP heli will stay at the angle it's at when you move the...

RE: blade sr?

Another vote for starting with a cx or msr. I started with the msr and spent 30 minutes just getting it off the ground and through my thick paranoia. The micros will take learning knocks. The SR...

RE: Blade MSR motor stuttering

I've always moved from battery to battery with no problem. This includes flying on aftermarket batteries that would allow for well over 10 minute flights. I'd first guess loose connection. Maybe a...

RE: Blade MSR defect?

Each to their own. Mine has been an invaluable trainer thanks to it's robustness even when bouncing off walls constantly. It's saved me a lot of money and time in training for stepping up to CP...

RE: flybarless msr

The flybar isn't what causes the "self correction". Being fixed pitch does. The CP they are releasing won't do that to you.

RE: Blade MSR defect?

It is manufactured offset like that. The question comes up quite often on here.

RE: thinking of electric helis?

I started off with the MSr. I'd suggest starting with the 120 honestly. It's a little bigger so you can take it outside more than you can the MSr. I'd also suggest moving up to a 450 size afterward....

RE: SR 120 Tail Motor

Seems to be a typical occurrence on all direct tail drive models from E-flite. Both my CP Pro2 and MSr have had issues, more so the MSr. I thought about trying the Walker micros, but seems most of...

RE: EXI 450 Build - setup issues

New issue. The tail servo rod keeps binding. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to mount it and/or make sure the tail returns to "neutral"?

RE: EXI 450 Build - setup issues

Right and right, ptb. My T and R were bound, but I forgot I had hit reset on the profile since it was originally set up for a CP Pro2. I didn't even realize motors can beep. Learn something new every...

EXI 450 Build - setup issues

I have an EXI 450 a friend of mine gave me. He put everything together except the receiver, sat around for a while, and then handed off to me to get running. However, I'm having a few issues. Here...

RE: Inherited toy

Yeah, I learned the hard way with the electric. I flew my CPP2 into my dresser @ WOT. I didn't realize I was going to need all this. It'll be a bit before I start sinking that kind of cash into the...

RE: Inherited toy

I pulled the feathering shaft. I have no idea what the flapping head design is and what all it was used on but this Nexus has a feather rod that is shared by the two main blades. One side is bent...

RE: CP Pro2 rant

The flying is a *****, yes. The rebuilding and the failures is the pain. I've decided I'm done spending money on it. I'm going to use the receiver to try and get the old school Kyosho up and...

CP Pro2 rant

I just need to take a moment to vent. I've had my B400 for a few months now. I've excelled immensely with it. First flips. First time I've felt really in control, even taking off and landing in...

RE: Inherited toy

Right now I just need a feathering shaft, tail fin,and then figure out how to hook up a SpektrumRX to it.How do you charge the batteries on it? Or do I need to replace those as well?I also need a...

RE: My first RC heli

The mSR is a good learning tool. However, I'd suggest staying indoors unless it is pretty much a dead calm day. Also if you haven't already, click in the right stick on the controller. It will help...

RE: Help with mSR and DX6i settings.

I never could get it to be as responsive and quick as it was with the stock radio, so I abandoned the DX6i with the mSR. Here's the thread I had going on it though.

RE: Heading Lock / Hold Gyro on Blade CP

Agreed. I find my B400 easier to fly than my CPP2.

RE: Your wish list for CPP2? desperate 4 help-hubby had heart surgery

I'd say buy spare parts. If this is his first foray into collective pitch heli's, it's just a matter of time before it meets the ground. Here's the list of my replacements on my CPP2 so far.

RE: Blade 400

I bound it to the cpp2 controller when I first bought the cpp2, so it probably was 100% throttle. Had my laptop in my lap, so I couldn't really jump after it either.

RE: Blade 400

Nope. I'm well aware of the 3d mode switch. I sent my mSR launching when I accidentally booted it up with the awitch on. Lesson learned cheaply, luckily. The difference only happens when the ESC is...
