Yeah that was the Hot Bodies one (my mistake) The HPI one was the one that was held in with body clips.

I know all about the gear mesh rules. I went threw tons of spurs learning this a few years ago. You need to have the same tooth gap in the pinions as well as the spurs with no more than a 4 tooth gap...

I've heard people talk about putting the Trx 2.5 into the Rs4 so if they can get that to work then the Picco 21 small block should drop right in.You may have some clearance issues to work out but...
