Towards the end, Emil designed some smaller kits. Maybe this was one of them.

I have to agree with you on the looks of the cowl. There's just something wrong with the TF version.

I would think, but not sure, that the GP SR-9 cowl woiud fit, along with the cuffs, etc.

John, thanks for the catalog page. I wish that I would have picked up a Vega kit, too.

Both you and Jim mention the Fairchild 22. I remember that IKON had two versions of the 24, but I don't remember the 22. I thought that it was a Pilot kit.

I don't understand all this IKON bashing. These kits may not have been up to modern standards, but they weren't that difficult to build.

Ed thought they were great, until the new owners didn't...

Abu: I thoroughly enjoyed building my IKON kits. Sure, they made me use my brain cells, but what's wrong with that ??? In fact, that's part of what I enjoyed.
