RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Totally agree on the overkill, but the 2 - A123's and the module are still less weight than the 4200maH NiMh I was using.  I have also switched over to this setup on my TF P-40 which has a DLE 20 and...

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Received the same kind of hesitation when using the IBE from some of the older club members!  I have over 50 flights on my Seagull Yak with no failures.  However, I did lose an AT-6 due to a new...

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Does anyone have a picture of their throttle linkage setup on the carb and servo ends?  Just reading through the FAQ and realized I'm using a metal rod with metal posts with set screws on each end!...

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Thanks Todd!  So you only use the one nut that the hex screw goes into for the spinner?  Also, I have a metal pushrod with adapters at each end for the throttle....all metal.  Is this bad?

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

I saw a guy on youtube do that with the ignition on until he felt the "bump", then started it.  That seems kind of dangerous?

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Can anyone walk me through the startup procedure for the Syssa 30cc?  I am using the IBE.  It took me forever to get it started today and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Thanks MTK. Totally makes sense now! Could I still have a switch between my battery and the IBE so I can turn the system on/off?

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

Ordered my Engine today for my Seagull Yak.  First gas engine.  I would like to use a fuel dot if possible.  Does anyone have a good rec?  Also, does anyone recommend a fuel pump for gas?

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

I think that is the route I will take. I'll start with the battery I have and then upgrade to a LiPo if I need more mAh. It's my understanding that I need to use a RED fuel stopper on my existing...

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

It is an OS 110 4 Stroke. The 18" prop will be no problem. I currently swing a 16x8. What is an IBEC? I have a 5 cell 2000mah battery pack. Will that be enough? The fuel tank is 16oz. Should I go...
