Hi John,
I think all of the Spektrum RX's have a bit of "squeal" to them. I first noticed on my T-28 when I first got it. Neither it, nor the Stinson seem to do it as much as when they were new....

RE: Official Hobby Zone

Very nice video Sinai... you really had to have the PERFECT day for that, enough cloud layer to get above, but broken enough to still see the plane.

Ive been turning over a complete rebuild of my...

RE: Parkzone Stinson Reliant SR-10

I guess it was inevitable.

I was out Saturday on a perfect Colorado flying day having an absolute grin-fest with the Stinson. A buddy was there to video a flight, one that I was going to mount...

RE: Trying to figure out knife edge flight...What am I missing?

I make no pretense of being an expert on aerobatic technique, but thought I would share my experience at least. I have been KE my PZ T28 for about a month now, and there is one difference in what I...

Background : I have my...

RE: Official Hobby Zone

Thanks for the reply! I didnt mean to imply it wasnt a good plane if it wasnt for beginners... I dont consider myself a beginner anymore thankfully. I learned on the HZ SC, and still think is a...

RE: Parkzone Stinson Reliant SR-10

I have not flown the Extra, but I'm positive that its more stable by design than the extra. Im not sure I would describe it as a trainer however. As a tail dragger, ROG take offs require a bit of...

RE: the motor stufftering problem :

I think Ive narrowed it down to either a heat related problem,, or a problem with the bullet connectors for the motor, and Im mostly focused on the latter. I...

RE: Official Hobby Zone

Im curious about how much wind folks are typically comfortable flying in. Here at 5000 feet, the cub seems pretty comfortable in 5-7 mph winds... and Ive flown ok in > 10mph winds. High...

RE: Help trying to get back into RC planes - Parkzone any good?

A few thoughts for you...

I started with a HZ super cub (3 weeks ago). After a couple of hard crashes, I've become pretty comfortable. In your case, since you flew before, you may become bored...

RE: Official Hobby Zone

I had narrowed it down to a couple of Parkzone planes - T28, or Corsair. I think the T28 is a better choice for ME based upon the trike gear... although I think the Corsair is wicked cool looking. ...
