id say take a look at what you broke and see if there are aftermarket upgrades to replace them with.
and continue that way as in reinforce what you break. there arent a whole lot of things needed...

I have 2 revo's one is a .26 picco red dot with the picco mount (drilled out on the mounting hole for better adjustabillity) and it is a very fast good engine.

They wont work with the traxxas big block kit as that kit is a bump start only mount you would need the new era kit for those engines and also the golden horizon upper left a arm with deport to leave...

It could be the first gear input, they have a nasty habit of shredding on higher powered engines though i have a picco on 16/36 and never had that problem, only on the big block did i shred first...

Two good sidepipes for the .26 red dot are the jammin jp-3 and the dynamite 053 both those will get you great performance from that engine.
Perso i use the jp-3 on that engine in one of my revo's...

Your best bet is to just run it and when something breaks (thay have a habit of doing this sometimes) look to see if there is a better part to replace it with, no point fixing whats not broken ;)

Is there a dual rate button on the controller ? its marked D/R sometimes. you may have turned this knob and it reduces the steering end points look for that and turn it the other way.
