you'll have to order the whole diff in order to get that part I'm almost sure . because I have the Earthquake 3.5 which has the same set up .

The Monsoon lives again !

Well after months of sitting due to the engine going bad I finally have a engine in my Monsoon. Put a Dynamite Big Red .28 in it on Byrons 30 % and it hauls ass .

how far out did you bring the LSN ?? Till its flush with the carb body and then tune from there ? I'm guessing that may be the problem too the local hobby shop guy said the same thing. Also would the...

yeah I've got the duratrax temp gauge. I'll give that a try and replace the gasket on the block itself and see if that helps.

if you're gonna run the 30 % you want to run with a cold plug. My Monsoon seemed to be running a little on the hot side too but it was pretty hot here last week....I cut a vent in the windown on both...

check to make sure there are no like no little nipples and what what not on the ring gear, I had them on a few diffs thatIbought for that truck. if there are it won't spin in right in the housing....

I have the EQ 3.5 and I use Byron fuel with 20% nitro and 12% oil and use OS8 glow plugs and it runs like a champ !
