RE: Great Planes P-51D Mustang

I used a OS 46 engine and I really don't think
I would use any bigger engine.

With retracts the plane is a rocket. A 61 engine is just more weight and

The plane is BY FAR my...

RE: What paint stripper for poly fiberglass fuselage?

I totally ruined a Bearcat fiberglass Fuselage with stripper.

I used paint stripper and it makes the fiberglass gummy and
weak.
I tried to fix it but it ended up in the trash can.

DO...

RE: Aquila AT10

Looked at the numbers of this plane. Unless it has a
super high lift wing, it might be a dog. The wing span is long 65 inches
but look at the wing area . It is UNDER 500 sq. in.

Basically...

RE: Putting a gyro in your plane...

I have a twin engine Grumman F7F Tigercat.
I installed a gyro on the rudder and
(would not) fly it without.
It makes for a very nice flying plane.

It also trims the rudder should a...

RE: Engine Test Stand

I bought a really nice test rig and mounted it to a metal folding sawhorse.
It has perfect height and is easy to tune engines on.
Plus the whole shebang folds up and sits in the garage.

RE: c-160 transall

Would this plane fly on 2 OS 26 fourstroke engines?
I live in Dallas at 600 feet.

I like "scale" powered planes but no need for a underpowered dog.

RE: World Models Ultimate 40S

Can't wait to finish mine!
I am using Hitec super thin servos for
ailerons. They are mounted inside the wing on servos

It has 2 OS 46 engines and weighs 13 LBS!
