Very true. Some guys handle dead sticks better then others. Before getting into scale aerobatics I was deep into sailplanes. That experience helps greatly when the occasional deadstick happens....

Chuck, there are some things that will accelerate bearing wear. Leaving fuel in the engine between flying sessions is the number one. I always pump the tank dry and then run the engine dry at idle....
