RE: Beware of O.S.

I'm not bashing O.S. They make the most reliable motor on the market in my opinion, 2 stoke anyways. Perhaps I should have re-titled this, "beware of your motor because things might be loose from the...

RE: Beware of O.S.

Yep, I agree with you MikeL. Tommygun made a good point as well. I don't see how O.S. can send out a product from it's factory without the head bolts being correctly tightened.

RE: Beware of O.S.

RCKen,
I completley understand the break in procedure. If you read in my posts earlier, I think I mentioned that. If you just scanned through before posting you probably missed that. I'm just...

RE: Beware of O.S.

I thought that the motor was supposed to be RTFfrom the factory, other than the break in period. I could almost lift the head from the motor they were so loosely installed. It took several turns of...

RE: Beware of O.S.

Good point here. "Even the trusted brands are cutting corners." I haven't been in the hobby that long but I have grown up around it all my life and this is the first time I have seen this ever...

RE: Seagull Extra 260 .90 ARF

I just finished the build on it. I must say, it's a great plane. I slapped an O.S. 120AX on the nose and it is wicked fast! I'm turning a 16X6 APC prop. The plane feels a little bit nose heavy, so...

RE: Seagull Extra 260 .90 ARF

Almost finished with the build. This is a great ARF except some of the hardware. Had to modify a bit, but no big deal. I'll post picks when it's done.

RE: All in a day's flying

Ilet my sister's fiance fly my trainer to get some practice and learn how to fly. I said turn left, he said no, I'm turning right. I said no turn left! He turned left and went into the trees about a...

RE: flying at an airport

I just had to get involved in this one. Sorry. I'm an Air Traffic Controller. As long as you notify the proper athorities you will be fine. Don't try to contact the control tower. That is bad news....

RE: Seagull Extra 260 .90 ARF

If you can send me some pictures of the build, that would be great. I have bought the plane and I'm going to power it with an O.S. 120, which I have already bought as well. If you have any more...

RE: Messerschmitt or P51 Mustang?????

I have flown the P-51 and it is fun to "mess around with." I say go with the P-51 because it is a time-less American classic.
