I can't say why they have two rings but many of the RCGF smaller engines have 2 rings. I think that the rpm data that they sent me is not right. I think it should be higher. What i think i'll do is...

the 26cc is not a high reving engine. it produces the best power on an 18 inch prop. If you use a 16 inch prop try a 16 x 8 or 9 or three blade 16 x 7.

Yes there is a difference in the ports between the 15 beam and cross mount. The 15 beam has three ports while the 15 cross only has two. This is one of the reasons that the 15 beam makes more power....

Its other real advantage is that if you lose radio signal the engine shuts down, preventing a fly away or something worse. We have sold hundredsof them and have had no problems.

Sounds like the crankcase is leaking air. The best thing to do is dissasemble the engine and put it back together with good RTV.</p>

The bearings are install with a bearing adhesive. You have to heat the ebaring pocket to get the bearing out. Don't try to push it out untill you heat it up.
