Sounds like the crankcase is leaking air. The best thing to do is dissasemble the engine and put it back together with good RTV.</p>

The bearings are install with a bearing adhesive. You have to heat the ebaring pocket to get the bearing out. Don't try to push it out untill you heat it up.

Gas engines vibrate more than glow engines. Always use all of the bolts provided with the engine, there is a lot of energy in a 18" prop at 7200 rpm. We have long 4mm bolts that should do the job.

The pinch test does not work because gas engines have a carb with a chamber that holds fuel. Glow engines have a throtle body not a carb thats why it works with them.
