RE: Why add all the CX2 aluminum parts???

RMG2

I agree with you and I have said similar in other CX2 posts.

RE: Blade CX-2

Greg,

The CX2 is an indoor bird. It is a great starter bird and fun for indoor practice and play in bad weather and Chicago winters. Once you feel you have full control and can put it anywhere...

RE: Blade CX-2

Try adjusting the gyro gain up to the point where the heli twitches left and right. Then back off the gyro gain a little at a time until
the heli holds steady. Proportional alone will not give...

Is it the tail that is drifting to the left or is the bird drifting to the left?

RE: Blade CX-2

If you want more response, move the connections on the servo arms farther out.

This will do two things:
1: more control
2: faster control

CX2 tricylce landing gear

Here are some PICS of some simple tricycle landing gear that I made from 4 gauge wire and some Lexan. You could use model car wheels.

RE: Blade CX-2

I made tricycle landing gear for mine. I used 14g black wire and model car wheels. The wire fit nicely into the mounting for the standard skids.

RE: Can anyone explain CX2 transmitter trouble

Do you have other devices nearby that are on 2.4g? i.e wireless network, cordless phone, ... . If so, try turning them off.

RE: Glow plugs

You can drill out the old plug and use a standard plug. Be careful of the length. The plug should not exceed the top of the convex of the NOVEL plug.

RE: gryo question (GY240)

BarracudaHockey,

Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong. I am assuming that you have a 240 and AVS works for you.

Gyro is stable at 100% (AVS OFF) and no tail wag.
Turn off power to...

gryo question (GY240)

I just put a gy240 gyro on my custom LMH. I cannot seem to get the AVS setting to work correctly. Either the tail is hunting or I get erratic, extreme swings left or right.
I put the gy240 on as...

I do not have the answer to your question, but I do have a suggestion for making the gearbox you have stronger.

RE: A-123 BATT

Use an ESC with low voltage cut off. Set the LVC at number of cells X2v (3 cells = 6v LVC).
Go to the A-123 forum and read up on these everything is posted there.

RE: Motor RPM

You could also try the shorter blades. I use the shorter blades. No added weight, higher rotor RPMs, less load on the motor. I am using the 2 dot blade grips.

RE: Please help!!!! my Li po pack won't charge

CBreeze,

If you are using the BEC in the ESC it does not cut off the batteries. That would not be a good thing because you would lose control when your batteries reached LVC. The LVC only cut...

RE: Phoenix 25 question

The other advantage to the USB link (Castle Link) is that you can install any software upgrades and fixes that are released. There is no cost for the upgrades or fixes.

RE: Say it aint so........!

I called LMH directly. They are still making and supporting the HELI.

If someone is unable to get parts you can call them directly.
