RE: Holshot carbon fiber?

Wow, so I didn't get a bad set, they are just junk to begin with!
The cut quality was horrible on my set, and I had to elongate holes also. I will tell you from experience, it is NOT hard to make...

RE: Brake setup

Put the fiber brake pads on it if they are not already there, and run it. Good brakes.

www.ebmods.com
Call him, he is very busy but doesn't have any problems with talking about stuff over the phone. He may not want to even mess with that engine, but I couldn't say. He mostly does...

C'mon Medic, get on the ball! Lol.
I make the plates, have been charging $15 shipped for two of them. You will need a Mugen wing mount/wing set up and some hardware.

RE: help my servos twiches and goes crasy

Mine did the same thing, when the controller was near the truck, or if I turned the truck on first, then the radio. There was a delay to get control of the truck or something, it did strange stuff. I...

RE: I bought my aluminum diff housings, but i'm afraid to install them...

Geez guys, it's easier than that! I have never pulled an a-arm to pull a diff, there is no need to.
1) Bumper comes off with two screws on the bottom, one screw through the bracket.
2) Plastic...

RE: Is it ok to break in the mach 26 lst motor with 35% nitro fuel?

Why would you want to? Break the engine in with what you are going to run in it. There arent any engines, stock, set up for 35% that I know of. Most of them can get by on 30% without reshimming, but...

RE: RB Mods or EB Mods

Eb all the way. Each guy has peeps who swear by him, I have heard great things about both, but I have NEVER heard a bad word about Ed, can't say that for RB. I have an Eb .28XR and an Eb P5. The xr...

RE: What are you guys doing for servo savers (hitech servos)

I used Kimbroughs, and trimmed the tabs to fit/not interfere with each other. The one thing that has worked flawlessly on this truck!

RE: Jumping Basics

Also, depending on the jump and especially with the LST, it likes to dig the rear skid into the dirt on takeoffs. This will make it nose-down BADLY. I did a mod on mine, where I cnc cut and turned-up...

RE: always something

Check your spurs, I thought my tranny went and it was the spur. (Unless you have ti ni gears.) If your diff was in an aluminum case and shimmed correctly, it shouldn't have gone out. I have been...

RE: LST Exhaust Header

Yep, and it cost me a Novarossi .28 engine, it backsucked a piece of crap and damaged the piston/sleeve. Not real thrilled about it either. had to go spend another $400 on an engine, if it does it...

RE: Wheel axle Upgrade - Need HELP

Make sure you have the upgraded ones, the originals snapped EASY. If you have 4 holes in the cup part of the stub, where the pin goes through, you are good. If you have two, they are the old ones,...

RE: hpi k4.6

I broke one in for a customer in his Savage, it is a STRONG engine. Even though it was fat, the silly thing kept lifting the front wheels when I was doing the break-in. I was impressed, and I have an...

RE: Very Confused

You have an air leak at the base of your carb, probably. Check to make sure it is seated and the pinch bolt is tight. THen check your head bolts, then your backplate bolts. I would bet that you find...

RE: WHY???????

Also, I had an S7 that used to eat them, the rod bushings, upper and lower, were disintegrating and killing plugs. Did you damage the upper bushing when changing the piston?

RE: WHY???????

If it ran fine (or ran) before changing the p/s, then start there. Are all the head shims still in the engine? Why did you change the piston/sleeve? If because dirt got into the engine, then there is...

RE: Possible to start a V-Spec?

I pondered it myself, as I have a Mod .28XR sitting here, but just went ahead and bought an RB .28 pull. I think it is possible, as Native Racing made a handheld bumpstarter with a very small wheel...

RE: I HAD TO OPEN IT

You can pack it in there like mad, but it will just make a mess for the next time you open it. The gears fling the majority of the grease off when it runs, so just lightly coat everything, it will...

RE: what is better

The LST is a much better truck. While the quality control during assembly is poor (on mine at least), the truck is far more technologically advanced. While it costs more, you get a lot more also....
