I think the super tiger runs better with the solid back plate and bump start set up! No chance of any air leakage from running a pull or rotary start! I've got the motor dialed in pretty good now.

Just make sure you don't get any silicone in the fuel way passage, like I did, when you seal the fuel line barb and feed tube.

They also replaced my engine when it went out. There service is great. I have run it 3 to 4 minutes at a time this go around and the break in whent much better. I've almost got a gallon of fuel...

Also,
Make sure you use red locktite on the spur gear screws. I've already had to put in a new set. Can't say I wasn't told to do so though!!

Yep.
I put some lythium grease on the o-rings in the diff case to keep the oil in.

I'm kind of in the same boat as Ambassador. I've had fun going through the truck and doing the mods I've found on this forum and its taught me a lot about nitro trucks. This is also my first rc truck...

I think you will see a big differance. I also put a black line on my tank so I know when the fuel is down in the reduced area of the tank. I refill at that point because the motor leans a little down...

I just checked prices again and Tower has brought the prices back up on some of the parts. Both cases were only $10.00 each for the diffs, and $19.00 each for the tranys. Now I see $24.00 and $45.00....
