Absolutely agree with you. The arcs are coming from pluging the plug in, not during flight. Similar to plugging the battery into the charger...you get a bit of an arc then too. That's what I believe...

I've seen that video too. It is definitely the arcing causing the problem and not continuous throughput. In a sense, it was my fault for just not replacing them every so often although I wouldn't...
