Thank you! I just did that today. I used a larger battery 3S 1350mAh battery instead of the suggested 850mAh and crushed a 1/4 oz lead weight into a ball and glued it into the point of the canopy....

All the crawlers I have seen so far have straight drive axles not differentials. I think a 2wd with a metal gear differential would work out better. I like the idea of buying a used one.

I like the automatic bilge pump idea. The esc gets mounted pretty high and a bilkge pump would ensure it never gets wet.
