I'm with you on this Blackie. For me, exactly the same cowl installation before and after problems were sorted out. And the problems were repeatable with or without cowl.

Love mine

(now that I have sorted all the problems.)

Never head it quit on me other than run out of fuel (over two years flying)

Just a shame those problems have given it a bad rep.
