I didn't glass the strips - I epoxied brass tubes in the elevators that the joining wire slides into. I will then epoxy the joining wire on final installation.

Ok - trying to post some photos

one is of the servo hatch in the wing, the tail picture if you look close you can see where I added an extra 1/2" to the TE. I put the elevator servo and the rudder...

The nylon fabric that used to come in the kits was garbage - cut a strip of 3/4 oz fiberglass cloth 1/2 to 3/4 by 1-1/2.

I am using Futaba 3004 servos for my ailerons and mounting them horizontal...

Thats the way the landing gear wires fit, they are a little tight on the 90 where the leg goes down to the wheel. Take a dremel and round the balsa just a bit - really not an issue.

I glued the TE of the LE sheeting to the spar using thin CA. I then glued the rest with medium CA and held in place with green masking tape (it holds better than the blue but can still be removed).
