at first when i added the 3mm round ply shim washers ( were about 10-12mm in diameter) i had also tilted the turbine withthe back end facing down ( ie added down thrust ) ...

the last 3 i built had 3mm ply shims under the front bolts of the stab - this cured the pitch up issue

Lands perfectly and can land on a 50 m strip
Take offs are great with the extra power

to share my experience, i exchanged the bolts that were in the original kit from 25mm to 30 mm , and that made a big differnce , as now the bolt does not need to...

yesterday I added 2 washers under the front bolts that hold the elevator to the booms...

test flew Xcalibur #2 ( RAF) scheme , and flew completely different than my old one
trim was way off ( used all available elevator down trim) and the plane kept climbing
cg is at 160mm ...

set balance point at 160 and no lead needed can this be right? My other xcalibur had 250gr lead up front same set up
What I did fo different was move the turbine forward by 1-2...
