AE FT bodies and FT caps would be my suggestion. I havent found a shock yet thats not poorly built for these trucks except maybe the proline, but they are very spendy.

I went to my Bash sight today and ran 4 tanks through my MGT also. The weather was perfect ( 70 degrees ) and I had a blast. Truck ran perfect as always and came home in 1 piece

With the newer version 4.60 metal gear trans it is very tough. I run ALOT of power through mine with ZERO issues.

Top speed of the 8.0 is more but the 4.60 has stump pulling torque. My 8.0 wasnt...

The trans is still different but the 4.6 trans is very good also, especially when upgraded to FOC. Proline still makes 23mm wheels I just bought some, not bead locks though

The 8.0 has a .50 engine compared to the .28 in the 4.60. IMO the .28 is a better mill with plenty of power

Awesome truck man. Yeah the blue spring are factory. I either run read all around or 1 red and 1 copper. For pulling though you may want it soft for tractionI dont know. You hit the nail on the head...

Sweet eric if you have any problems let us know. I have a Servo saver around if needed i can drop it in the mail to you. I upgraded to the factory team setup. Just let me know if you need it

The 1.1 spring will cause the engine to rev a bit more before it engages. I'd think you would want some rpm built in the engine when pulling. I was using them until I went with the Werks setup

Eric try some Mugen 1.1 springs on the AE clutch setup.They will get that 4.6 right in the RPM band that works best

Right on!! Looks like a nice truck. I recently got a nice bargain on a new 4.6 myself, with a bunch of upgrades, such as servos, FTBB alum steering, FOC. The truck had 1/2 tank ran through it and...
