For on-road, I just run mine on the street out front of my house - as is... You could get drifter tires if you're thinking about drifting..

The AX10 is MUCH better than a honcho or RS10 and more fun :) 

You can get used one and start crawling or even upgrading.  I have an extra one I need to get rid of.</p>

I totally agree Bladefan - hit a manhole cover and it's airborn!

I'll have to change  the throttle to 70/30 instead of 50/50.

In Nor Cal the winter wet streets should be fun - haven't tried it...

Gearing for Revo Mamba Monster?

I installed the 54t spur that came withthe packing. Stockwas I think 64t.

Should I goupin the pinion, which is 19tstock? I'm using it foron and off road bashing.

Didn't notice much difference...

Thanks for reminding me about checking everything to ensure it's tightened... This is definately a tire way out of balance.  These revo tires are huge - wide and heavy.

Bought a new Revo and love it - except two of the tires whobble pretty bad. It appears to be the tires (out of balance) so I just moved one bad one in the front to the rear and don't notice it as...

Slash 4x4 vs. E-Revo 4x4

I have both the Slash Ultimate with mamba monster (3s&amp; 6s lipo) and a brand new E-Revo with mamba monster (3s lipo).

Which one is faster on street &amp; off-road??? Anyone really know? I haven't yet...

malekia, I have the same issues - the stock tires will spin out WAY too easily, even on deacceleration.  If you get a stickier tire, it's much more fun with MUCH better accelleration with the same...

joeseif - it goes 50mph out of the box with 2 stock batteries or 3s lipo and the 31t speed pinion that comes with it..   It's so small, there's no reason to go that fast IMO.  My 1/10 4x3 Slash goes...

I use 6s or 3s on my mamba depending if I feel "lucky"..

3s are safe, and so are 6s (the motor can take it and not overheat)..  6s will break things at times but if you want real power, heck with...
