RE: RCGF Engines

I'll just second what Henry said. The engine ran great with the stock muffler. I could maybe be a little quieter, but the reason I want a Pitts is so that it's fully hidden by the cowl. Look back...

RE: RCGF Engines

Just a quick to post to say that I was able to fly my 45cc for the first time today. Did the 20 minute break-in yesterday. I've got it in an Aero Works 35cc Extra 300. Put a Bolly 21x8 prop on it....

RE: RCGF Engines

How accurate is 'relative'. Such as the 4.25 dimension measured 4.375 on mine. If an 1/8" is accurate enough, fine. But I'd say they're close, and leave it at that.

The manual that comes with the 45 still has the dimensions of the old version of the engine. Is there a new diagram available?

RE: RCGF Engines

I gave up on a CRRC Pro GF45 that I got from a guy at my club. He brought back 6 of them from China directly.

RE: RCGF Engines

Better now that I've struggled all year trying to get one to run. But I gave up in frustration cause I never could get it to run right. [:'(]

Hopefully RCGF's support is as good as they tout it...

RE: RCGF Engines

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered a 45cc'er. Hopefully I won't regret it. I'll let everyone know my experiences.
