I wonder if motor and esc of boat would last with the length of runtime of the 7.2-3800 nimH which would be very long if you run till lipo almost dumps. Have a good day!

More harm than good! Weight of nimH is a lot heavier than lipos. Sure longer runtimes will occur but your self righting won't work due to extra weight. That's why the 1100 lipos. Read up on the...
