I'm building a Sikorsky Grand and I've now reached the stage where I have to install the 2 landing gear wheel carriages (8 wheels, each) into the undercarriage, tying them both to the undercarriage...

RE: Scratch Building, Aircraft Design, 3D/CAD FAQ

RE: Could one accident ruin the hobby?

This may seem as though I'm wandering, but bear with me. I just finished reading "Taking Flight" by Richard P. Hallion. It is the best book on the history of aviation that I have ever read. I...

RE: NOSE WEIGHT - A BETTER WAY!...

The simplist place I know of to get lead is a good hardware store that sells rolled sheet lead for flashing. It's about 1/32 of an inch thick. It cuts easily and can be folded up into very neat...

RE: Saws, Saws and More Saws

The saw I use most in my modeling is my 4-inch Dremel table saw. My next most used saw in my 14 inch Craftsman bandsaw, and lastly, my Craftsman scroll saw. The latter I use solely for cutting holes.

RE: New AstroFlight LiPoly Charger

Is there room in the 110 case to mount both chips, to be controlled with a switch on the side?

Multiple Brushless Motors, one Controller

I want to build a 4-motor electric airplane. I have contacted two suppliers who both tell me that I must use one controller for each motor. Since the controllers I would use are sensorless, it is my...
