This is what mine looks like, it's a 170G , the inlets of the 339 are relatively small, and there is a ridge in ducting, for wing pipe, which I think deflects the air over tturbine my fuel piping is...

Do any of you guys haVe problems with the ducting, ie do you have a shroud over turbine to keep air directly feeding into turbine inlet.
Im suspecting, that i am having flameouts due to air flow...

hi Dom
i found, same issue with gear blocks, have had to strengthen them, with carbon cloth and plywoof vertical braces, seems ok now.
I normally, just fill oil up to , air valve, then just pump...

hey Dave, i have only had 2 flights , and i can see how you could miss the MB, it really looks and feels solid. i even had a flameout on 2nd flight (air in lines/old hopper), and dead stick on runway...

It makes perfect sense, that 25mm flap, would be more lift enhancing than drag , so hopefully more flap, will slow her down.

got me a secod hand MB, refiited everything internaly with Kingtech 16 etc and test flew it on saturday.
WOW, what a gracious a/c, sits well and very neat. had to add more weight upfront for second...
