RE: Wish me luck!

Nice looking Dawg, glad to hear the maiden went well. Sounds like you may want to move the CG
back a little bit. Mine is at 9.25" but it has a 1" shorter cord too. I have a Thunder Tiger .46 on...

RE: S.P.A.D. ???

I learned to fly on a SPAD Debonair a few years back and I thought it flew great but I didn't have anything to compare it to. Since then I've built at least a dozen other SPADs and I thought they...

RE: Setup on Sickle

Gringo

I have my COG at 1 7/8" and It is borderline tail heavy so I plan to move it ahead about 1/8 or 1/4"
It may fly where you have it but I think it will be very pitch sensitive. You could...

RE: SPAD Sickle with pics

Screamin: Another winner looks great! Gringo: I am using standard servos and with a GMS .32 I am guessing around 85- 90 mph with a 9X6 prop. When I get a chance I'll get some audio and run it...

The brand is Kavan. I don't remember where I got them from it was a couple years ago. I bought them when I was flying my pizza box a lot and wanted something very durable. They...

RE: SPAD Sickle with pics

Screamin: Very sharp Sickle, really a nice paint job. Hope you enjoy it mine's a blast. I built one a few weeks ago and probably have about 6 flights on mine. It's currently my favorite Spad. Very...

RE: Found good speed measurement software

I can't get a reading on any files I had recorded with Windows Sound Recorder. It just fills a small area on the left like everything is all compressed together. Changing all the settings does...

RE: Bulldawg assembly ?'s

Is there a newer excel program for calculating speed? Mine's a year or two old and it did seem like the rpm's were kind of low on your runs.

RE: Bulldawg assembly ?'s

I was wondering if you radared the Dawg's flights at the funfly or if you did a Doppler analysis.
I got about 91 on your second pass with the doppler and I'm wondering if you think that's...

RE: Bulldawg assembly ?'s

Just maidened my Bulldawg today. Thanks Clean for the video, it made me hurry up and finish building mine. It's an inch shorter than the plans with the same span. It's got a .47 GMS that I've

RE: New design spad pics. What do you think?

Kracker

Excellent looking plane, I bet it's a blast to fly. I built something similiar last summer based on plans from the other Spad site. Mine's 42" span with a 32" rail. It's really fun to...

RE: In need of a FMS interface cable...

Try a Logitech Rumblepad Joystick. It has twin sticks and you can set them
up to function just like a transmitter. Only difference is the left stick is also
springloaded to the center like the...

RE: 3D SPAD Machine

Thanks Chris. I think I'll give it a shot. I'm willing to give up a little of the floatiness for better power to weight.

RE: 3D SPAD Machine

Chris is right on about the Edge. The Spa3dt hovers better but I wanted something more precise when doing things like rolling circles, sometimes the Spa3dt has a mind of it's own when rolling.
Also...

RE: AirSled

Thanks TERBO. There is 4 inches clearance under a 10 inch prop. The prop in the pic is 9 inches.
I don't want to go longer then 10 inches because then the cage doesn't protect the prop. I also...

Where did you see the 2 stroke Coolpower oil? On Tommy's Karts website?
Does anybody know what the difference is in the 2 oils anyway?
