Ahicks, I'm old cut me a little slack! Thanks, I read the manual twice and even checked that section and did not see it! Appreciate your help.

I can not find in the manual anything about setting the low back to factory settings, does anyone know what the setting is?

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

Guijs, yes she is very easy to land but does come in very fast without the flaps. I fly off of a dirt runway so I don't have any grass to slow her down. I've only been using about 25 - 30 percent...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

Interesting, I may have to try the 15x10 prop and see how she flys.

If you're interested, here's some of the other planes Ifly:

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

It's a MAS 15x8 prop.

Did you think the plane was fast with the 15x8?

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

Isn't it a beautiful plane to fly! It flies real nice with the 15x8 prop but recently I tried the 16x8 and flew well, the only problem there is the low ground clearance. I just purchased a 15x8 three...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

I'll try that the next time I fly her. My pilot lost it's head in the last flight so I order two new pilots from Aces of Iron. Sorry you have to wait three more weeks to fly her.

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

It's not hard to take off it's just that it takes time to build up the speed. I had the Seagull Dewotine with the same DLE20 and the plane would lift off the ground in 20 feet.

It looks like it...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

What they are referring to in the manual is low / high rates. Elevator and aileron are set for 15mm low rate and 20mm high rate. The rudder is set for 25mm low rate and 40mm high rate.

I don't...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

I must say, this plane flies beautifully with the DLE 20 motor.  It handles so well in the air and the landings are so easy because of the way she glides in.  The only downside to this plane is she...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

What retracts are you using? I have the E-flite retracts in and the front gear uses a setup where as when the gear is up, the stearing rod moves up and down the retract shaft. I will try to take a...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

For the choke, I just reach up under the cowling, I added a 2 inch screw to the choke arm and it's easy to reach.

Im telling you, this plane lands beautifully. On one of my flights, the throttle...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

With the electronic ignition behind the firewall, I had to add abit of weight to the ass end of the plane. I put the weight in the compartment hatch towards the back, underside of the fuselage.

I...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

Guijs,  I ended up placing the Ignition Module behind the firewall along side the fuel tank. I cut a hole alongside the engine mount for the spark plug and the magneto wire to come from.

A...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

Where did you guys install the ignition module?  I'm thinking about putting it right behind the fuel tank and running the cables along the side of the tank.  I was thinking about making another...

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

I'll see if I can take pictures later and post them here so that you can see my dilemma.  It seems that the inner part of the plastic inserts will not fit into the wing openings.

RE: Seagull Super Tucano

It seems that my wheel inserts will not fit into the opening even after they get trimmed down.  Did anyone here have this same problem and have to trim the opening a little larger?

Otherwise, I...

I never stated that or even implied that I wanted a replacement.

All I said was that I did not get what was advertised!

And no, I am not going to send...

I had bought a Mosquito from Easytiger Models back in December based on it's ad that it has upgraded components.  The ad states (and still states) that the ESC's have been upgraded to 35 amps.  </p>...
