I reviewed the drawings again and agree that due to the linkage design, perhaps the single servo design is best i.e. lighter and less hassle.

Does anyone feel any need to replace the Byron retracts in the P-51 with something else like Sierra or Centuryjet? How do the Byron (Robart?) units hold up?
