This is the same idea I came up with to mount the lipo under the wing on the CG. Velcro holding the lipo to the top of the strip, then more velcro under the strip holding that to the fuselage....

Success! :)

The movement of the flaps was reversed, probably a consequence of mixing an already mixed channel. The simple solution for that was to switch the ports then reverse both channels.

It's the older DX7.
The right flaperon is plugged into the throttle channel. Left into the aileron channel.
