1/12th is just too small. I think i'm going to have to go with the GT2. Since I'm not going to race no reason to invest in a cheap buggy. Thank's for all the input and advice.

I have also considered the Kyosho DBX 2.0and OFNAJammin X1xin that same $300 price range.
