You can get a brushless setup from nitrorcx.com.. You can get a leopard 9, 10, 12, or 13T brushless motor with esc for about $60. Hobbywing is also another brand that they carry.. their stock...

Actually, I'm running NiMHbatteries now.. I've a few 3000 &5000 mAh packs that seem to work well for me.

I swapped out the BLmotor for the silver can w/ futaba esc (thought it was a tamiya esc)...

Yeah.. thats a good idea.. I do have a brushed setup (silver can with tamiya esc) I can throw in there.. I guess depending on how that behaves, it'll tell me if the BL setup needs attention or the...
