The number of turns is not important, as long as you have the mixture set correctly. By that I mean your engine might be best at 1-3/4, mine might be best at 2-1/4, another.. you get the drift....

Possible airplane specific issues:

- Split/perforated fuel lines inside/outside the tank
- Plugged fuel or vent line from tank
- Plugged muffler pressure fitting - did you use muffler...
