I have CJ gear in the box , my goal was to simply see if I could use stock gear with struts just like so many have claimed all over RCU :D, perhaps its another urban legend so famous in the RC...

Check on ebay , if you get luckey you can get a pair of the CJ rotators for around $180 , or tower has the best price

If you go to two servos and oleo struts are you approaching the cost of air retracts ? Not a critsisum just a comparision , but CJ runs about $219 plus deals from Tower , Robart $139 for the 615 ,...

Nice job , I am also surprised that the retract servoe wont slam those gear up , the VQ structs seem very light .
Question did the VQ slide on or did you have to burrow out the legs of the VQ to...

I use plumers tape on all the sleeves of my muffler connections in addition I also use some brand of bolt adhesive on my engine mount bolts . I had both my muffler and engine come loose prior to this...
