the Long Beach CA Radio Control eXpo had a dismal display for tanks, mostly 1/5 - 1/8 scale a few 1/16 scale transports at the only tank booth.
lots of cars, buggies, planes and a few helis

i think the 4 ch fp is a stronger, quicker respoce heli in the slight breeze where as the coaxial being more stable but tolerates wind less
both go up/down/turn right/ turn...

coaxial helis have 2 sets of main rotors stacked and a fly bar
fp has one set of main rotors and a flybar (smaller rod with paddles either above or below main rotors) or can be fbl or fly bar less...

i eventually got the solo pro v2 from hk which is a good heli picked up spare parts from club heli mostly tail booms and the extreme skids the white skids glow in the dark but loose their luster...
