You also may want to upgrade the weak servo with traxxas waterproof servvo and if you areplanning on getting it wet its best to spray wd40 on the screws and other parts so the when you washed it off...

yeah my slipper pad didnt look like pad, just some really black dirt lol.

remove the small pin and the other side with the other slipper pad should be there.
when i wascleaning my center transmission, both pads look very worn out. going to replace them before putting it...

yupp its been removed prior to attempting to take out the cups.
its suppose to just come off or do i need to twist it off? I see some rust could that affect it? i also tried putting wd40 and soak...

still having trouble removing my drive cups ib the center transmission:(screwshaft has been removed)

one of my a arm did snap off when i lost control of my xs and went fullspeed to a curb (thats what happen if your receiver antenna get chewed up by the centre drive shaft and you dont replace it) but...

Yes there will be noticable difference (you'll be able to go straight!). I highly recommend the 2075 for waterproof servo.

I say go for Traxxas' Stampede 4x4 VXL. Its durable, powerful with 2s/3s, lots of after market parts since it share parts with the slash. This would run over $500 tho witht he lipos and charger.

XS servo is the SF 10W while it is waterproof its very weak:
Torque: 36.10oz/in (4.5kg/cm) @ 6.0V
Speed: 0.18 sec/60&deg; @ 6.0V

compare than to Traxxa's waterproof servo 2075:

beadlock rims are fine if you are bashing. but for speed runs over 40mph then youll have a problem

question, about to buy used mmp + 3800kv combo and was wondering should gear up or gear down? Will run only on 2S lipo cause none of my current 3S fit on the xs.
