OK, I was too use to planes where the prop just cleared the cowl, I have heard that the Pitts, and YAK's etc. need more room between prop and cowl for better air flow. Just wasn't too sure if it was...

Thanks for the pictures, You said your running a Bison pitts, what engine are you running? I am using a DA50 and a slimline Pitts.

Just found this thread, and mine is almost done. Getting ready to cut the cowl, my least favorite part. But Measure 10 times, and cut once!:D
