Missing pullstart screw won't cause the leak, but should be replaced. Sounds like maybe you should retighten all the nuts and bolts. Get yourself some blue locktite and use it on the screws to help...

There are two small screws that attached the exhaust header to the engine block, your manifold gasket goes between the header manifold and the engine block, so the two screws I'm talking about also...

Personally I like the Caldera 10e MT. It built stronger than the Volcano and holds up really well. If you're more into buggy type vehicle then the Tornado is the way to go. They're pretty tough also....

The RS10XT ESC is not Lipo ready. The ESC will not provide a low voltage cut-out that is highly recommended for Lipo's.

Be sure to check your slipper clutch adjustment. I just received a new Twister, rand it for about 3 minutes with a 3S lipo and melted the spur gear and slipper clutch parts down. It ran fairly good...

I agree with the other replies about break-in and too rich/too lean issues.

One other thing to check is for a broken spring in the clutch......a broken spring will make clutch engagement eratic,...
