I assume brand = NB... =New Bright.

Increasing voltage would increase power, but you'd fry the electronics.  Aside from major surgery, there's not a whole lot you can do.

I suggest replace...

Finished front suspension, but unable to test without radio... so I have a used radio on its way from ebay... along with a double motor ESC... :)

I'll install a new servo for steering when I get...

Visited LHStoday. They didn't have any stacked (double)gears and they only had a 9 tooth pinion, so Ionly picjed up a set of shocks for the front.

So... 4th gear is on hold and Iam continuing work...

I'm trying to figure out gear ratios...
I have a 10 t pinion... next gear is 42 and 16 teeth, another 42 and 16 tooth, and finally a 42 tooth...  I calculate about 29:1 ratio.  If I replace...

Sounds great!  I thought the stock motor would be too weak... but if Yellow Crawler has the stock... I'm convinced to leave it and do the 4th gear.

Now to find the right gear (x2)... ;)

I agree wiht you about low speed.  I have a 1:1 scale Jeep that I take off road almost regularly.  I am looking at the new motor as being more powerful and I hope to have more torque.  Depending on...

Ithink I'd like to swap the motor first and see how that does.. if needed, Iwill do the 4th gear. Not too keen on the 4th gear since it's open and dirt could get inside the gears.

steering return spring = removed.

Last night Iremoved stock steering setup and installed threaded rod system in its place.

Still waiting on the new NBcrawler so Ican test the electronics.

Couple questions...
 What 280 motors can I use in my NB 1/10 scale Jeep crawler... without frying the electronics?
 (and if you know where I can find them I would appreciate that little bit of info...
