RE: Return of Lunchbox..

StevenJV,

What a sexy beast your LB is! I like the green..? Looks nice. It looks blue in one of the slides of your pic, unless that's a different body.

In RC, there's a tension, a constant...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

With 3000mah battery, you should get 30 minutes or more on stock motor. On a 3800mah battery I got more than 40 minutes. And the LB had a good punch to it. Not of course much of any top speed but it...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Still nothing like an immaculate Lunch Box, freshly built. I love the blue dampers. What brand are those?

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

StevenJV,

Very important information about your FlySky You may have to bind your receiver to your transmitter.

You'll find instructions on how to do this at various websites, but here's...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I believe with the T610 charger, you'll need to buy a power supply seperate.

I myself recently purchased the Thunder AC6.

The AC6 comes with the power cord. The difference between them is that...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

LBXnut,

You should post your video on Youtube. It reminds me of this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h51lqGxmBhk

Talk about a chipping paint job, right? But I love the sound his LB...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

StevenJV,

I definitely agree with others here. Do not buy the charger and the battery you have in your cart. The mah of the battery you chose is way too low, if I may say so. 1500mah is going to...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

To add a few corrections:

You were right!

I haven't tried it on the LB but others have been successful in adapting some sort of Traxxas steering knuckle that is a carrier for 5x11 bearings...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

The Street Fighters look like great on-road tires. and Ido believe they'll look marrrrvelous on the LB. ;)

I've never seen the LB with on-road tires before. Should be interesting.

Meanwhile,...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Scratch2K - you got it. EXCEPT for the 3rd link. The seperate Dirt Hawg tires are for 2.2 inch wheels not the 2.8. Get the 2.8 Dirt Hawgs for the Traxxas style beads, which Proline makes...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Are you sure about that?

It seems like Traxxas electic vehicles are FWD, which is why they have the drive wheels/12mm hexs on the front.

Anyway, I've mentioned the tires and wheels I've tried...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Broken parts beside body mounts, wire springs, and plastic body:

1) lower shock eyelets (due to bad crash and bad driving)
2) lower front arm, but still works and is being used, even though I...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

No the front collars are to be used on wheels that have the same 5x11x4mm bearings that the LB has in the front, the same size bearings used in Traxxas wheels (and many others) on vehicles that...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

85mm in the rear is simply too long. Go back a page and look at the pictures of my LB with the Jatos wheels and purple alloy shocks on. They are hideously long and they create a bad angle with the...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I don't know about reservoir, but 78mm is the perfect length (eyelet to eyelet, right?).

I've been running my Baldre a lot lately and finally got back to the Lunchbox and what I notice is how...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I beg to differ! ;)

I had shocks that were 85mm (center hole to center hole) and those were too long. In fact, as low as the front arms can go, that's how long 85 mm is.

In the rear, 85mm is...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I think I should try some of that diff grease considering that I now have ceramic grease lubing the gears and I didn't realize it at first, but on dustier surfaces, my LB tends to spin out a lot. I'd...

I've got the Proline Trenchers on Proline 2.8 inch Desperado wheels now. They are way too big, but I like the aggressive looks. There are a few minor clearances issues the tires can rub against the...

You can either attach pics or post them here directly in the context of a post if you have pics hosted on an external website (such as imageshack).

Basically, just upload a few pics at imageshack,...
