Himoto Starting issues...

I have a himoto moster truck and I'm having problems starting it...It will idle fine as long as I keep the glow plug igniter in, but as soon as I take it off the engine dies....Any ideas?

Next problem :) worked great this morning until the pull string came out...is that a fairly easy fix? Assuming I need to take the engine apart?

Changed the batteries and that did the trick! Guess I need to look into some rechargeable's.... Thanks!!

Yeah- its weird. If I turn in the steering wheel it makes the gas go full throttle.... I'll check the receiver batteries...
