The Temper ESC is pretty basic. Our B1R is probably a lot more than most are willing to spend, since it's a $50 controller but in racing we spend about the same on a car kit as we do on the motor/ESC...

I might try to see if the 1/24 RC4WD Yota axles will work on these trucks. Will also mean I'll need wheels and tires and hopefully something with some offset as the RC4WD axles are a bit narrow....

It needs to be curved, it hits the leaf at full lock as it is. Can't get much more steering out of the stock dogbone setup either, would probably end up breaking them.

So these are cheap toys. Like, hilariously cheap. The stock electronics are trash and while it does come semi-proportional throttle and it's a 2.4G system, the steering is god awful, sounds terrible...
